3. where in the south aside from/ in addition to your hometown would you recommend going to someone who’s never been there? i wanna go on a roadtrip to see more places ….

They’re just from the eye doctors! The one I go to is literally called “My Eye Doctor”. I think it’s a chain?
My first fave was “Wife Beater” cause I looooove the steel part on it sm and Gangstabilly was the first DBT album I ever heard. Then I loveeeeed “Women Without Whiskey” OBVIOUSLY. “Zip City” is iconic… I love “Goddamn Lonely Love”. Most recently I love “Cartoon Gold” but fr my fave changes all the time.
My faveeee city not in North Carolina is New Orleans !! It is soooo special <3 I love Oxford and the surrounding areas in Mississippi. I love the swampy areas of Florida, and the beach towns in South Carolina. Anywhere in Appalachia (East Tennessee, WNC, Kentucky) are all beautiful.
